Your employer can help pave the way to DSFP certification in various ways, such as providing financial assistance with coursework and exam fees or granting you flexible working hours for studying. Talk to your training and development office today to find out what kind of support they can offer on your journey towards becoming a certified DSFP professional.

3. Buy and/or download all your optional Exam Prep Materials in addition to the Electronic Study Guide and Practice Exam portal that we sent you after signing up as a member of CMSSA.

4. Start Studying: Here are the preparation tips that will help you get ready for the test also, Take the exam while your knowledge is still fresh! According to a survey, 78% of those who passed had begun preparing for the exam within three months after completing their coursework. Don't wait too long! Start studying now and ensure success on your upcoming test. 

5. Register for the Exam. Are you on track to complete your coursework soon? You can register for the exam before you complete the coursework requirement as long as you'll be done by the exam education verification deadline. Register for the next exam.

7. Validate Your Degree(if you have one). To complete the application requirements, kindly ask your college or university to send us an unofficial e-transcript verifying that you possess a bachelor's degree (or higher) at memberships@cmssa.org.

8. Enter Your Professional Experience: Highlight your tangible abilities to prove that you are committed to delivering the premier service for customers. Get started by discovering more and entering in your professional background.

10. Fill Out Your Ethics Declaration: DSFP professionals must follow the high standards of ethics and practice outlined in CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. Once you register for the exam, submit your Declaration and Agreement to get your background check started.
