To ensure financial professionals have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver competent, ethical services to their clients, there is an education requirement. This consists of studying using CMSSA-approved coursework as well as obtaining a bachelor's degree in any accredited college or university. By following this educational path, individuals can rest assured that they are fully prepared for a career in digital finance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT PART 1 OF 3
To qualify for credits toward a DSFP certification education requirement, you must confirm that you possess either a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Education at the time your diploma was given to you. Your diploma may be in any field and should have been awarded before passing the DSFP exam—or within five years following it being passed successfully. However, a bachelors degree or higher is NOT REQUIRED necessarily for certification.
If you possess any of the CMSSA approved certification credentials, you can easily acquire one credit of work experience toward your DSFP certification. In fact, if you have multiple certifications (limit three) from this group of recognized qualifications, then even more credits are available to be earned. Take a look at the list now for further details:

It's essential for DSFP professionals to get 60 hours of Continuing Education (CE) within a three year period from the date of their original certification. 5 out these CE hours must be CMSSA approved Ethics courses, and 55 should cover one or more topics in the CMSSA Domain Topics list. This requirement begins as soon as your initial certification is finished, so don't wait until it’s too late. Educate yourself about continuing education policies and make sure you're ready when it comes time to renew your credentials.
